Burning Man is one of the most notorious Arts Festivals in North America. The event is a gathering of more than 50,000 participants in the middle of the Nevada desert over 7 days in the end of August and beginning of September. It is as much of a social experiment in community, art, and radical self-expression as it is in its functionality as a music festival. There is not a huge list of stunning headlining acts like most music festivals as Burning Man is a event where people go to discover their alternate selves and participate in a alternative community. The Festival creates a city every year in the basen of an ancient lake bed, which is called ‘Black Rock City.’ When Burning Man is not taking place, Black Rock City has a population of zero and no trace of any kind of ‘city.’ During the Festival the ancleint lake bed is transformed into a complex community surrounding a central focal point, which becomes the platform for the burning of a giant wooden figure at the conclusion of the week long event. Burning Man is by far one of the most unique and different festivals the world has to offer. Burning Man sold out last year with a limit at 50,000 attendees, so if you are planning on attending be sure to snag your
